Greetings beloved in Jesus’ precious name.
I am writing this exhortation to you as we are finishing the middle days of February our month of takeoff. The Lord told us expressly that for the church this year 2015, It is our year of Unlimited grace, Unlimited favor, Addition, Rest and Heaven on Earth. It is however also a year of very bad news for the world, with worsening failing economy, more retrenchment, gloom and doom.
We have by God’s leading prepared for this year differently from other years by having an 8 day fasting, prayer and revival service in the middle of January.
Listening to God’s injunction where He said we should be strong, courageous, not to be afraid or intimidated (Josh 1:9), but be proactive to contend for what God has promised. Deut 2:24), so let me shout from the mountain top, let my words reverberate through your spirit’ which is ‘‘Bring that goliath down”.
Your goliath(s) may SEEM impenetrable 1Sam 17:4-7, I mean your goliath challenges may SEEM insurmountable. They may even seem intimidating, they may sound so confident of their invincibility that they even challenge the ability of your God to help or deliver you. 1 Sam 17:8-10. Listen to me beloved, surely there is an end to the story and right there on the last page, I saw it was you that won. Hallelujah! Prov 23:18 because God is on your side
Psalm 56:9, Come on, let faith arise within you and bring that goliath down.
You just need some information
Hosea 4:6 namely:
- You are covenanted to God, bonded, attached to Him, owned by God, hence you are not alone. Gal3:29. So.
- Nothing happens in your life by accident, depending on how you live your life. Have a God consciousness every second, minute and hour of the day.
- Be very clear and deliberate about who you worship. Who or what you spend time with is important, the company you keep, and how much time you spend cultivating and keeping the presence of God with bible study time, Church attendance, both Sunday and mid-week, including special meetings like home cell fellowship, prayer meetings.
- Have an understanding of covenants like David 1 Sam 17:26, because your goliath(s) usually have a strategy to wear you out , to harass you daily, be in your face at every opportunity especially when it sees you are over-whelmed. 1Sam 17:16
- You cannot overcome what you are not ready to confront. You cannot send packing or eliminate what you tolerate. Be ready to confront this goliath In your life, be ready to possess what God has given to you from the devil which he doesn’t want to release to you. Deut 2:24, 1 Sam 17:32. Never forget God’s past blessings.
Celebrate and be excited about your past testimonies, repeat them, share them. 1Sam 17:34-37
Use them as reference points
- They have the ability to generate faith in your heart for the present battle.
- They also give you the presence of mind to turn this present battle over to the Lord, meaning for you to be dependent on God for victory nor your ability or resources 2 cor 10:3-6
- Be quick to introduce God to your Goliath(s), thus moving the battle field from the physical realm (ie. away from your limitations) to the spirit realm towards God’s ability. 1Sam 17:45-47
- Prophesy, declare the end of the challenge. This is a verbal process not a mind/thought process. Rom 4:17, Prov 18:21, 1Sam 17:45-47
- Take charge, don’t hesitate. Go for it John 12:25, 1sam 17:48, show no mercy, do not compromise nor stop till it’s finished. 1Sam 17:50-51
- Note that though it seemed goliath was well fortified and he seemed impenetrable, 1Sam 17:45-47, the only exposed, uncovered, vulnerable part of his armor was his forehead and there the Holy Spirit directed David’s sling shot stone with so much force that goliath fell dead.
So come on great one, you are a “Lion in the making, you are a god”, go ahead and bring down that goliath. This is your greatest year so far, suck everything you can out of it.
The gods, the challenges, the goliaths that cannot boast of creating the heavens and the earth must die for you to rise. Jer 10:11. God is on your side, cheering you on, and so Am I, dear child of God. So am I! Yes so am I!! Have a great 2015
