Weeping is an action that arises from negative emotions of sadness, intense sorrow and disappointments; when people do not know what to do anymore, they weep freely. The word ‘CRY’ is used interchangeably with ‘WEEPING’ but I believe that weeping is more intense and comes from a deeper emotion than crying. e.g You can cry tears of joy or cry when you feel sad but weeping is a more serious matter.
The word of God makes it clear that God doesn’t want to see us weeping He is never happy about our tears except for when they are shed in repentance. Joel 2:12-
When we repent with tears, that shows how remorseful we are and God is pleased to have His children back on the right side. According to Psalm 30:5, Weeping should have an expiry date. I declare an end has come to weeping in your life In Jesus Name. Your weeping expires to-day in Jesus name.
Unfortunately, weeping may be eternal under some circumstances.Matthew22:2-13.
- For those who refuse to answer the call of salvation. Matthew 24:42-51
- Backslidden believers and servants of God. Matthew25:14-30
- Unprofitable Christian people who have ignored God despite all he has given them.
- Praise God! Your tears matter John20:11-15a. A weeping woman got the attention of angels as well as Jesus’ attention.
God has a plan to end your weep-ing. Isaiah 65:19. You may have been weeping for so long but God promises reward and restoration.
Isaiah 65:19-24 tells us that after weeping restoration will follow. Jer 31:16.
CRY NO MORE!
Now sister, wipe those tears brother, Cry No more. It’s a new day! Take your burdens to the Lord in prayer and leave it there. Psalm 126:5-6.
Look! Your Savior cometh.
I now prophesy to all who read this, that you will no longer weep in sorrow.
Every reason for your weeping ceases from hence forth even as heaven takes care of them. May your Isaac arrive now so you can laugh forever in Jesus mighty name Amen. You will!
